La Seppia
La Seppia (The Cuttlefish) is an Italian digital literary magazine founded in 2018 with the intent to promote emerging authors under the age of 35.
The client’s wish was to have a new logo that better represented its renewed brand identity. The only requirements for this project were to merge a cuttlefish with a literature-related element and to use bright blue and bright orange as the main colors.

The focus of the brand on writing and creativity is emphasized by integrating the shape of a pen into the cuttlefish's head. The cuttlefish was the mascotte from their previous identity, so I decided to keep it through to the rebrand for brand recognition.

My partnership with La seppia actually started in 2022, when they got in touch with me to create a series of digital illustrations to pair with some of their upcoming published articles.
