Client request

The client’s wish was to have a new logo that better represented its renewed brand identity. The main requirements were to merge a cuttlefish with a literature-related element and to use bright blue and bright orange as the main colors.

What I created

I led the development of the brand identity, which involved market research, competitor analysis, crafting the logo, selecting a color palette, designing visual elements, and establishing brand guidelines.

The focus of the brand on writing and creativity is emphasized by integrating the shape of a pen into the cuttlefish's head. The cuttlefish was the mascotte from their previous identity, so I decided to keep it through to the rebrand for brand recognition.

My partnership with La seppia actually started in 2022, when they got in touch with me to create a series of digital illustrations to pair with some of their upcoming published articles.
